On the 29th August, 2015, The African Sisters Education Collaborative and Sisters Leadership Development Initiative (ASEC/SLDI), celebrated the 2015 graduation ceremony. The theme of this year’s ceremony was “Celebrating our lives as consecrated people”.

The ceremony began with a Holy mass which was officiated by Archbishop Kaigama, the Archbishop of Jos and CBCN President. Others in attendance were Sr Jane Wakahiu, LSOSF, the ASEC Director and SLDI Project Manager, America, Sr Clementina Obembe OSF, West African Director of SLDI/HESA, other board members of ASEC/SLDI,  the graduates, their family and friends and many other invited guests. Also part of the ceremony was a cultural night where each graduates dressed in her traditional attire.

Sr Jane Wakahiu, LSOSF in her goodwill message thanked God who made the day a reality and congratulated the graduates for keeping the flag flying, mentoring other sisters and for this great achievement which has come through their perseverance.

Three Daughters of the Holy Spirit, Sr Monica Anyi DHS, Sr Anthonia Ayeni DHS and Sr Veronica Odoemenam DHS, graduated on this day. God bless ASEC/SLDI and its benefactors.
