OUR EXPERIENCE DURING THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY (DHS, VICE- PROVINCE OF NIGERIA)

As a congregation, we were led by the Holy Spirit during this time together at our General Assembly 3rd-6th September 2015. It was a gathering full of varieties of activities, relaxation and was Spirit filled. It was a moment to celebrate one another. We celebrated our growth and looked to the future with hope. We felt greatly led by the Spirit during the process of choosing our orientation. It was done without stress. At intervals we had physical exercise together to keep us alert and physically fit.

Just at the heart of choosing the orientation, lo and behold, two simple women arrived: Sisters Priscilla Madumere and Agnes Obembe DHS [the general councillors from France].They were given a warm welcome by all of us.

The Vice- Province Bursar gave a run-down of the financial report, and in between we had music. There was appreciation for those who have assisted our missions/apostolates, sisters in the congregation and benefactors.

The session ended with social night tagged ‘’Old school Night”. Sisters dressed in their native attires and danced to nice old school musics.

Ejiro Umiaghwa DHS and Chidima Ahamefule DHS.
